Frequently Asked Questions
Clear, honest answers about how our programs work.
What ages do you teach? Copy link
Most children begin between ages 3–7. We group offerings by readiness: 3–5 (balance focus), 5–7 (transition to pedals), 7–10 (skills and control), and 10–12 (road awareness).
Do you provide bikes and helmets? Copy link
We ask families to bring a properly sized bike and a CPSC-certified helmet. We can advise on fit and perform a safety check at the start of each session.
How many lessons are typically needed? Copy link
Many beginners ride independently within 2–4 hours of focused instruction. We never rush; we progress at your child’s pace.
What if my child is nervous or has had a fall? Copy link
Our coaches specialize in rebuilding trust through gentle, achievable steps and positive reinforcement. Safety and emotional comfort come first.
Where do lessons take place? Copy link
We meet at quiet parks, school yards, or low-traffic paths. We’ll suggest locations near you that are ideal for each stage of learning.
What is your weather policy? Copy link
If conditions are unsafe (heavy rain, lightning, extreme heat/cold), we reschedule at no fee. Light drizzle is acceptable with proper gear.
How do cancellations work? Copy link
Cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your session without charge. Late cancellations may incur a fee to cover coach time.
Do you teach children with diverse needs? Copy link
Yes. We welcome diverse learners and tailor sessions thoughtfully. Please share relevant considerations so we can prepare appropriately.
How is pricing structured? Copy link
Transparent pricing per program is listed in our catalog. No hidden fees. Optional add-ons like additional siblings can be arranged.
